We firmly believe in the concept of universal education and uphold this belief by creating prestigious educational institutions and implementing a wide range of initiatives to make education accessible to the most underprivileged populations

Ispahani Public School & College, Chattogram

With a vision of cultivating educated and enlightened citizens as well as charismatic future leaders for a burgeoning nation, Ispahani Public School was established in 1979 under the devoted patronage of the distinguished industrialist, Late Mirza Ahmed Ispahani. The school began operations in 1981, enrolling students from KG-1 to Class-VIII in a three-storied building. Over the years, the infrastructure has expanded to include two additional four- and five-storied buildings, which house the Secondary and Higher Secondary sections, science labs, and common rooms for both teachers and students. The institution was approved to introduce the Secondary level in 1983 and the Higher Secondary level in 1989. Today, Ispahani Public School & College (IPSC) is recognized as one of the nation’s top-ranked schools, with our students making significant contributions to the public, private, and business sectors. Originally, the institution’s educational program started on a small scale. However, over time, it has evolved into a full-fledged secondary school. Facing a persistent classroom crisis due to the continuous influx of new students, Mr. Mirza Salman Ispahani, the current chairman of the Ispahani Industrial Group and the president of the school management committee, has taken action to solve this issue. On March 20, 2017, construction began on a new multi-storied building for the school due to his generosity and sincere efforts. Once completed, the architecture of the building will make the school one of the most attractive educational institutions in Chittagong. The school continues to uphold its reputation for excellence in education and will maintain this standard even as the number of students increases.

Chittagong Grammar School

To address the educational needs in Chittagong, four families—the Dadas, Ispahanis, Khans, and Nizams—collaborated to enhance the city’s teaching resources and set new standards for school policies. By bringing together the best educators, they established Chittagong Grammar School (C.G.S.) in 1992. A derelict building on Sarson Road was renovated and refurbished to become the school’s new home, which officially opened in January 1993. The school’s mission is to help children realize their full potential academically, physically, morally, and socially.

The school quickly gained an excellent reputation within the community, with demand for placements exceeding available seats by its second year. Today, the school serves as a venue for Cambridge ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level examinations, with over 300 teachers and 1,500 students. It offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities that support holistic student development, while maintaining high standards of discipline and environmental excellence. The school remains focused on delivering a comprehensive and well-rounded education for the children of Chittagong and beyond.
