Under the dynamic leadership of Chairman Mirza Salman Ispahani, IIEI&H has continued to advance its mission, vision, and values since January 2017. The institute offers a comprehensive range of ophthalmic services, including general checkups, cataract surgery, and treatment for corneal conditions, glaucoma, and other eye diseases. Specialized departments focus on vitreoretinal diseases, oculoplasty, and pediatric ophthalmology. The hospital provides treatment options at various costs, ensuring that quality eye care is accessible to everyone. This includes a General Outpatient Department (GOPD) with subsidized services and a Private Outpatient Department (POPD) offering more comfortable amenities.
In a bid to enhance the capacity of eye care facilities nationwide, IIEI&H also engages in training physicians, surgeons, and paramedics. The hospital serves over 1,000,000 patients annually through its network, supported by a dedicated staff of over 1,100 employees, including 120 full-time doctors. This centre is dedicated to providing free primary health care to the local underserved population. The centre operates with two full-time doctors and nurses, available from Sunday to Thursday between 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
