Tea Estate
M.M. Ispahani Ltd. is a leading name in Bangladeshi tea, cultivating high-quality tea leaves across four esteemed estates: Mirzapore T.E., Zareen T.E., Neptune T.E., and Ghazipore T.E. These expansive tea gardens encompass a total of 2,100 hectares, nestled in the verdant landscapes of Fatikchari, Chattogram and Moulvi Bazar, Sylhet – a region celebrated for its ideal tea-growing conditions.
Ispahani prioritizes quality throughout the entire tea-making process. Our dedication is evident in the impressive yield achieved across their estates. The average yield sits at a commendable 2,350 kgs/ha, with Zareen T.E. exceeding national averages by a significant margin surpassing 3,000 kgs/ha, nearly double the national standard and solidifying its position as one of the highest-yielding tea gardens in the country.
Each tea garden is equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, ensuring the consistent production of premium-quality tea. This unwavering commitment to excellence is reflected in the exceptional prices our tea fetches at the prestigious Chittagong Tea Auction. Notably, all four of their estates – Ghazipore, Mirzapore, Zareen, and Neptune – consistently rank among the top ten for achieving the highest auction prices in Bangladesh, a testament to the exceptional quality of their tea.
In 2005, we expanded our presence in the tea industry by acquiring shares in the Finlay Tea Garden.
